BMA opens renovated library at Lumpini Park

A NEWLY renovated library in the middle of Lumpini Park opened its doors for children to use today (October 30, 2018), Thai News Agency reported.

Bangkok Metropolitan Administration Governor Pol Gen Asawin Kwanmuang and HSBC Thailand CEO Kelvin Tan presided over the opening ceremony.

HSBC Thailand had invested 30 million baht to completely renovate the old library turning it into a bright red ladybug themed structure.

Pol Gen Asawin said an average of 10,000 people use this park everyday and the newly-refurbished library will draw children and youths in to read books and learn more through skill enhancement activities.
