2 Sukhumvit motorbike taxi stands clash over passengers
TWO neighboring Sukhumvit motorcycle taxi stands, or wins, almost came to blows after a driver of the 1st stand came to the 2nd one with a baseball bat to take a passenger, INN News reported today (Nov. 29).
The incident was videotaped and shared by a Facebooker user, @Chayanon Thongsrichan, who said the attacker came from a Sukhumvit soi 22 stand, armed with a baseball bat and supported by a gang of friends, and parked in front of an uncle at the 2nd stand, in Sukhumvit soi 20, to take a passenger.
The two sides almost came to blows but luckily a man in that area stepped in and stopped it. They continued hurling abuses at each other, until finally the conflict was resolved.
The attacking driver armed with a baseball bat was almost reported to police.
