7 workers killed in building collapse
Police and engineers are investigating the collapse of a one-storey building under construction in Thalang district of the southern Thai province of Phuket, the Thai-language daily Matichon reported yesterday (Nov 21, 2019).
Seven Myanmar workers were killed and two injured when the structure collapsed.
Police have interrogated construction engineers and charges will be filed against them if they are found to have been negligent in the construction project.
