800,000 meth pills seized from container truck
A 30-year-old container truck driver has been arrested after police found 800,000 methamphetamine pills behind the front seat of his truck, the Thai-language daily Khao Sod reported yesterday (Oct 28, 2020).
Acting on a tip-off, Samroiyod police in the southern Thai province of Prachuab Khiri Khan stopped the truck, which was on its way to the southern Thai province of Songkhla.
The driver said he was asked by a fellow driver to bring the package to another man in Songkhla and he did not know what was inside the package.
