Anantara Thailand Resorts Announced as Filming Locations for HBO’s The White Lotus Season 3

HBO’s Emmy-winning series The White Lotus, created by Mike White, has officially chosen three Anantara Thailand resorts as filming locations for its highly anticipated third season.

According to Warner Bros. Discovery, The White Lotus Thailand will feature Anantara Lawana Koh Samui Resort, Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas, and Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Resort as key settings for the show’s signature drama and satire.

Featured Locations:

  • Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Resort: Set along Bophut Beach, this tropical paradise appears throughout the series, showcasing its iconic Thai-style lobby, lush entrance, employee parking lot, and jewellery store. Designed by architect Bill Bensley, the resort’s picturesque landscapes and Southern Thai heritage provide an authentic backdrop.
  • Anantara Lawana Koh Samui Resort: Known for its Singing Bird Lounge, a treehouse-style bar nestled in a 120-year-old tree, this location plays a key role in Season 3’s bar scenes. The lounge, inspired by Samui’s traditional bird-singing contests, offers breathtaking ocean views and an immersive cultural experience.
  • Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas: This luxurious beachfront retreat serves as The Wellness Sanctuary, Spa, and Belinda’s Room in the show. Offering seclusion and elegance, the resort’s 183 villas and serene surroundings make it the perfect setting for The White Lotus’s signature intrigue.
