Dog barks save old woman’s life
Dog barks saved the life of a 72-year-old woman whose teak house caught fire last night in Mae Ping District of the northern Thai province of Chiang Mai, Sanook.com reported yesterday (Feb 13, 2018).
Mrs Boonark (surname unknown) said she went to bed around 7 p.m. after feeding her three dogs and left burning charcoals in her stove.
Neighbours came to her rescue after hearing the loud noise of the dogs.
Police investigators said an electrical short circuit might have caused the fire. Further investigation is under way to find the real cause of the incident.
