Investigation started when officials discovered the website that sells a large selection of DVDs and Blu-ray discs. The website has been selling online with Thai and international movies including adult videos. Officials then discovered where the website was operating from, a home on Charansanitwong Road. A search warrant was issued leading to the arrest. The home is used as a major base where all the pirated information was stored before writing onto the discs. Sarayut admitted he graduated from Computer Engineering and knows how to make websites. He made the website and then downloads the movie files from torrent websites. He would then write the files onto the discs.

The website also generated revenue from ads. The suspect further reveals the money is transferred into 5 different bank accounts in another person’s name. The accounts are purchased off other persons. He has been doing this for 5 years and sells 5,000-6,000 discs per day at a price of 60-170 THB. The website makes around 3 Million THB a month. Nanthapa is an employee who works as an admin responsible for taking orders and delivering the products. The suspects have been delivered to the ECD waiting for prosecution.
