Facebook member seeks cash donation
A THAI female Facebook member this afternoon (June 20, 2018) asked her group members to donate 1 baht each so she could pay for the hire purchase of her new car, the Thai-language daily Thai Rath reported.
The good-looking woman has more than 30,000 followers on her Facebook page.
In her post she said: “I need help from all of you. Please give me 1 baht each. I am short of money to pay for my new car this month.”
Her post drew both sympathy and skepticism. One follower noted that the woman just posted new photos on her Facebook page enjoying her time in Hong Kong.
“I don’t think she is poor,” said the follower.
“Why pay for a person who seems to live beyond her means.”
