HM the late King’s birthday to be observed every year
THE Cabinet today declared that December 5 of every year will continue to be marked as the late His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s birthday with all important activities carried out as usual, Thai News Agency said.
The Cabinet also approved the increase of minimum wage by 5 to 10 baht for 69 provinces from January 1, 2017 but urged business operators to not increase prices of goods
The Cabinet also gave the go-ahead to add two more days to the New Year holidays with the four-day break stretching from December 31, 2016 till January 3, 2017, Thai News Agency added.
