Husband shoots wife, then kills himself
A MAN enraged at his wife for spurning his overture to patch up their marriage shot and seriously injured her this morning (Dec. 25) before killing himself in front of a school and with their 2 children looking on, INN News reported.
Pol. Col. Pannaphat Dechotipisit, head of Nonthaburi police station, said that at 7.15 am the 38-year-old husband shot his 32-year-old wife in the abdomen and then killed himself on the spot in front of the school.
The wife was sent for treatment to Kasemrad International Hospital Ratthanatibeth and is still under doctors’ care.
Thai News Agency reported that this couple lived together for 14 years and have 2 children, aged 6 and 9, but separated because they could not get along and quarreled often.
The couple’s 2 children are in a state of shock and teachers are taking care of them.
