Kalasin gets tough on facemask law violators
Governor Chaitawat Niamsiri yesterday (May 22, 2020) signed an order declaring that all local residents in the northeastern province of Kalasin must wear face masks when they leave home, sanook.com reported.
Anyone who violates the order faces a maximum fine of 20,000 baht.
The measure was taken after a large number of people left home without face masks.
“If nothing is done, we may face a spread of Covid-19,” said Governor Chaitawat.
