Long cool season begins today
This year’s cool season begins (Oct 17, 2019) and ends in the middle of February next year, the Meteorological Department reported.
This is good news for Thais and foreign visitors who enjoy cool weather. In the upper part of Thailand, temperatures may plunge to around 20-21 degrees Celcius, with fog in the morning.
However, the eastern part of southern Thailand from Chumphon province downwards will experience heavy rainfall during November and December.
