A man with 20-cm fingernails
A 43-year-old man in the northeastern Thai province of Yasothon is in the media limelight yesterday (May 14, 2019) after a local reporter for the Thai-language daily Matichon saw strangely long fingernails on his left hand.
Mr Prasit Sitarachai told the reporter that he started growing the fingernails 11 years ago, when he was a tricycle rider.
“An old man got on my tricycle, and after a brief chat, he suggested that I grew fingernails on my left hand and cover them with gold leaf,” he recalled. “This will bring you good luck and wealth.”
“I followed his advice and my life changed after I set up a car inspection center, which is now doing well,” said Mr Prasit.
