A man has sent about 1 million THB to a girl that he met on TikTok. The man is an air-conditioner mechanic in Pattaya. A Facebook user posted the story online as a warning to others. The man stated he has filed a report with the Nong Prue Police and hopes that he will receive his money back. He has transferred funds to a beautiful he met on TikTok the famous video application. New information reveals she is a mother of 2 living in Roi Et Province. Sanook News Team visited the man in his home located in Pattaya, Chonburi Province.
The team met with Banjong 34 years old who lives and work from his home that is also an office for his business. Banjong stated he was on TikTok as usual and one day met the woman on TikTok and felt an immediate spark. He fell in love with her style especially how she dressed in the videos. Banjong decided to direct message the woman who gave her Line and Facebook to continue the online relationship. The first time she asked for money was to pay off a debt from buying lottery which was 3,000 THB. After that she continued asking for money with a total of over 900,000 THB.
He decided to help her because she stated times were hard. Banjong had a lot of jobs at the time and had some money left over. He didn’t tell anyone of the relationship but continued to send her money. The woman always gave him hope that she would pay back every baht but it never happened and she also lost contact with him for a while. The latest transfer she told him that there is a business deal. He transferred 110,000 THB to help. He realized something was not right in March when he asked to meet but she denied the request. Banjong wishes to warn other men and women looking for love to not become victims to online love.
