Nearly 2 million meth pills seized from traffickers
Thai Army soldiers have seized nearly two million methamphetamine pills from 15 drug traffickers who were on their way to the Thai-Burmese border in the northern Thai district of Mae Sai last night, the Thai-language daily Thai Rath reported yesterday (Oct 16, 2020).
The traffickers dropped their backpacks when the Thai soldiers on patrol shouted at them.
They managed to flee but left behind 13 backpacks filled with 1,950,000 meth pills.
