Pathum Thani lifts ban on sale of alcohol
Starting today (May 7, 2020), people in the central Thai province of Pathum Thani can buy alcohol and take it home for consumption, the Thai-language daily Khao Sod reported.
Under an order signed by Governor Pinit Boonlert on May 6, people in Pathum Thani can buy whiskey and beer, but they can only consume it at home.
According to Khao Sod, the sale of alcohol is still banned in Phitsanulok and Buriram.
