PM Prayut fined 6,000 baht for not wearing a facemask
Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has paid a 6,000 baht fine for not wearing a face mask during a meeting with his advisers in the Green Room inside the Government House on April 26, 2021.
After the meeting PM Prayut talked to Bangkok Governor Asawin Kwanmuang, who informed the PM that he had infringed the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s announcement that everyone in Bangkok must wear a facemask when they leave their home. Anyone who violates the announcement is subject to a fine of 6,000 baht.
Governor Asawin and a police officer later came to the Government House and PM Prayut paid the fine. His photo with no facemask was later deleted.
