28 foreigners arrested in pool villa birthday party.

28 foreigners have been arrested in pool villa birthday party. Over 50 police officers arrested 28 suspects in a birthday party located at a luxurious pool villa in Chonburi Province. Wuttisak Singhadecho the Bang Lamung District Chief, Police Colonel Metawit Praditpon from the Chonburi Police, Police Colonel Chitdecha Songhong from Nong Prue Police, and other related officials joined forces and entered a party taking place during the Covid-19 pandemic. Over 50 police officers entered the Pool Villas Pattaya located in Bun Sampan, Nong Prue Sub-district, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi Province.

28 suspects were arrested, out of this number 11 were men and 17 women. 13 from Philippines, 6 from Russia, 2 from France, 1 from England, 1 from Canada, 1 from Cambodia, and 1 from Albania. Local villagers from the area notified officials that a party was taking place. There is alcohol inside with loud noise bothering the neighborhood. Officials made a plan to enter the building as it was a risk towards public health safety concerning the spread of Covid-19. A spy was sent into the area and the suspicions were confirmed to be true. Once it was confirmed, officials headed to the villas with the goal to end the party. This party was ignoring all current situations and the importance of keeping people safe.

Officials found a 2-story luxury home with a swimming pool, bright lights, pool table, all specifically placed for a party. Police entered 2 of the villas at the same time. Inside the first building there were balloons in English saying, “happy birthday”. Inside were 13 Philippines and 1 Thai arrested. Out of the number 12 were woman and 1 man. They were all drinking and eating while laughing and enjoying the time. When they noticed the police, all were shocked. Many of the suspects are language teachers gathered to celebrate a friend’s birthday.
