Police checking Yingluck shopping photo
DEPUTY National Police Chief Pol. Gen. Siwara Rangsiprammanakul has ordered an investigation of a photo of fugitive former prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra shopping in Europe while Interpol has not yet confirmed anything about this, INN News reported today (Dec. 31).
Pol. Gen. Siwara said police are checking whether the photo of Yingluck shopping in a European country, which has been widely shared online over the past few days, is a new or an old one, also whether it has been doctored.
Thai police have liaised with Interpol but as yet have not received any information to confirm this.
Pol. Gen. Siwara added that the Foreign Ministry has cancelled Yingluck’s passport, while also mentioning that if found she would definitely be arrested for legal action according to the law.
