Police nab drug-crazed man after 5 hours of talk
CHIANG Mai police took over 5 hours to catch a drug-crazed man who used a pen gun to fire at them from his house within this northern city, Thai News Agency said today (Oct. 19).
The man, identified as Suphot Sriphot, 30, was in a drug-induced frenzy at his house in Srivichai community since this morning.
Police had surrounded his house and caught him by charging from the rear as he was talking to Chiang Mai’s deputy police chief.
Found within the house were some knives and a pen gun plus bullets.
The suspect has been taken in for a urine test and further legal action.
