Policemen expelled over bribery
Three policemen attached to Thonglor Police Station in Bangkok were expelled from their duty yesterday (Dec 27, 2019) for taking bribe from a French businessman, the Thai-language daily Thai Rath reported.
The businessman was earlier accused of possessing marijuana oil. He allegedly paid a sum of money to the three policemen who said they could fix the problem for him.
A police committee is now handling the case.
