Python attacking officers in Forest Department Building.

A python has gone crazy and has been attacking random officers in the Forest Department Building. 2 officers have been injured by the python and it continued to attempt attacking other officers in the building. Security footage revealed one of the attacks and it is believed this is the same python on all attacks. A doctor advised officers in the building to be patient and slowly pull the teeth out as pythons have curved fangs. The python escaped into the building as a result of the floods that are taking place in Thailand.

The water started to rise and the python was first spotted hiding inside a cart. A female officer was walking when the snake jumped and bit her leg. The security footage was able to capture the next incident when 3 officers walked into an elevator. The snake then jumped out and tried to bite one of the officers. Khaosod News Team visited the building on 4 September 2022. The building is 4-stories tall with a garden in the middle. Near the garden were stairs with rope placed across. There was also a sign that stated “warning! Do not walk pass the garden, beware of snake”. Officers in the building were living in fear as the python was still free.

Doctor Pattarapon Maneeon from the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation stated that the incident took place on the 12th at 20.00. The officers were leaving to go home for the day. The woman who was attacked is now safe and has received medical care. One more person was bit by the same snake on the 14th near the garden. Finally in the evening an officer was able to catch a python that appears to be the same size of the python captured in the video. They believe that this is the same python that has been attacking officers in the building.
