Royal pardon for 243 inmates
A total of 243 prisoners were released from jail in Pattaya yesterday (May 13, 2019) after having received a royal pardon, the Thai-language daily Khao Sod reported.
These prisoners comprise 181 men and 62 women who have less than one year to complete their jail terms.
They were selected based on their good behavior, according to Khao Sod.
