Teacher survives home robbery by being nice.
A teacher fell victim to a robber in her own home, after getting some money the robber asked to engage in sexual favors, but the teacher talked her way through it. This story reminds us it is best to control our emotions as being calm may end up saving our lives on day. Before the robber left, he even told the teacher to always lock her door. Police Captain Chinakrit Sawadeewong from the Thung Yai Police Station in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province received notification of a home robbery. The thief managed to get away with 500 THB on 21 November 2022.
Officials went to inspect the home with the local rescue team. The home is a single-story townhome. Sasitorn 29 years old is an elementary school teacher in Krabi Province. The teacher was still shocked when officials arrived and spoke with a shaky voice. Sasitorn was sleeping but forgot to lock her door. She woke up because there was sound coming from her kitchen located in the back. She got up to go see what was happening, but a man walked out and came towards her. The robber used his hand to cover her mouth and asked for 500 THB.
The teacher stated she had no cash and will transfer the money to which he agreed. The money was transferred to a woman’s account. After she transferred the money, the robber asked for a sexual favor, but she was nice to the man and stated he could take anything he wanted from the home. The robber calmed down and stated before he left “Every night before you sleep don’t forget to lock the door, you live alone and it is dangerous” and “Don’t move anywhere, I will return you the money”. The robber then went to her bathroom and climbed out through the top. While he was doing this, he accidentally cut his foot on an aluminum sheet and blood dropped to the floor. The teacher then called the police.
