Thief arrested during fire in Jod Fair Market, Bangkok.

A fire has taken place at Jod Fair Night Market in Rama 9, Bangkok. Jod Fair is a very famous night market in Bangkok known for its variety of delicious food and fun shopping. Store vendors and customers run races out of the market. Many customers and tourists helped the store vendors move their items before running out. They had their lives to worry about but out of compassion, the shoppers helped the vendors out before running out together. The local officials were notified and firefighters went to the market right away. For many markets in Thailand, the vendors set up their stores every day under tents. These tents made from fabric are often the perfect fire spreader.

Firefighters and the rescue team traveled to the market and started to work right away but the fire had spread quickly and smoke was covering the market. After some teamwork work officials managed to control the flames. Thankfully no one was injured in the incident and the fire was stopped before it spread through the whole market. While vendors and customers try to help each other out before escaping, there is a man who takes the fire as an opportunity to make money.

While everyone was worried for their valuables and their lives the thought of someone turning into a thief escaped their minds. This was when a man started running into the market stalls to steal items. Officials noticed right away and arrested the man before he could get away with stolen goods. Hopefully this was the only man who took others peoples suffering as an opportunity. Often times when fires start or during a natural disaster there will be someone with bad intentions who take it as a sign to steal goods. These thieves believe because of so much happening at the same time, no one will notice or find out what they had done.
