‘This is where you park your buffalo’
THE above message is written on a big poster, which appeared in front of a convenience store in Village Group 1 of Samaesarn Sub-district in the Thai seaside town of Sattahip early this morning (April 17).
The poster was put up by Village Headman Banjerd Janthet to deter people from parking their motorcycles in front of the store. The illegal parking has been causing traffic jams there for a long time.
Mr Banjerd had earlier ordered his officials to lock the wheels of motorcycles that violated the traffic law, but all to no avail, the Thai-language Daily News reported.
Calling a person a buffalo is a grave insult in Thailand.
