Woman taken for a ride
A Facebook post by a Thai tour bus passenger describing her “horrible experience” went viral on social media on today (April 5), sanook.com reported.
The passenger, who wrote under a pseudonym, said she bought a ticket for a “VIP seat” from a tour bus company in the northern province of Uttaradit for 600 baht for a trip to the northeastern province of Udon Thani.
As the bus left the station, she was led to the lower deck of the bus, where she was given a straw mat and a blanket to spend the night. Apart from her, there was a couple in that compartment.
“I could not sleep all night. The smell from the bathroom upstairs was awful,” she added.
