Workers held for raping US tourist
THREE migrant workers were charged this morning (April 27) with raping an American tourist behind a restaurant in Doi Saket District of Chiang Mai Province, Sanook.com reported.
The suspects were questioned in the presence of officials from the American Consulate in Chiang Mai. All three denied the charges, claiming that it was consensual sex.
According to witnesses, the three suspects befriended the victim and her American boyfriend while they were drinking at the restaurant. One of them followed the woman as she walked the restroom. The two other men followed later.
