Young party leader confirms he has not been shot
THE young and wealthy head of the Future Forward Party Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit said in a live broadcast on Facebook today (August 22, 2018) that he has not been shot as has been rumored, Sanook.com reported.
Thanathorn, 39, who made his fortune as vice-president and director of the Thai Summit group, which makes car parts, said right at the end that he was live-streaming to debunk this very rumor.
He mentioned that he was traveling back to the party office after a visit to Samut Sakhon to hear fishermen’s problems arising from the government’s effort to resolve illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing (IUU).
He added that he intended to use their input to work out the party’s policy in order to correctly resolve these problems in future.
