Lottery-winning cop gives gold chains to subordinates
THERE were broad smiles all around at a checkpoint in western border Mae Sot city after Captain Chak distributed a gold chain each to all his subordinates after having won the first prize lottery in the last draw, Sanook.com reported today (Sept. 21, 2018).
Captain Chak, whose real name is Pol Capt Chaksithiporn Duangthavorn and who is deputy chief for crime prevention and suppression at Mae Sot police station, was over the moon when he won 12 million baht first prize in the September 16 draw.
He carefully divided his money, with one part being given to his children, another invested in family business, some going to his parents, and another sum earmarked for making merit and charity.
However as head of the checkpoint 406 at Mahawan subdistirct in this city bordering Myanmar, Captain Chak did not forget his subordinates and made them all happy by giving them a gold chain each today.
