Luxury homestay resort demolished
FORESTRY Department officials and 500 workers this morning (August 22, 2018) demolished 10 luxury homestay houses that encroach on the land belonging to Phuhin Longkhla National Park in the northern province of Phitsanulok, the Thai-language daily Thai Rath reported.
The demolition was ordered by the Supreme Administrative Court, following a complaint submitted by the Forestry Department in May this year.
According to the complaint, the owner of Hongka Homestay Resort encroached on more than 8 rai of land, and built 10 houses without permission.
