Speeding overseas student in bad crash

A 17-year-old youth who is studying in UK but is back in Thailand for holidays miraculously survived with a broken arm after driving a sedan at very high speed and slamming hard into a truck fully loaded with sand last night and injuring 5 other people, INN News reported this morning (August 22, 2018).

The unidentified youth, who is the son of a senior police officer on Koh Samui, zoomed out of a tunnel on Kaset-Navamin road on his red-plate Ford Mustang sedan and strongly rear-ended the truck, causing it to fall sideways and knocking out a power pole.

Luckily he managed to get out of the car despite a broken arm before it burst into flames.

Policemen and rescuers quickly sent all 6 people injured in this accident to the hospital, and 5 have returned home.The youth is still recuperating in the hospital.
