Merit-making on King Bhumibol’s birthday
Merit-making and religious activities will be organized around Thailand on December 5 to celebrate the birthday of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, Sanook.com reported today (Nov 29, 2018).
In Bangkok, the main activities will be held at Sanam Luang, where Buddhist monks will receive alms from the public in the morning. Similar activities will be held across the country.
Musical performances will be organized at night in all provinces to to mark the auspicious occasion.
