Lantern Festival in Samut Prakan
The Dhama Kakanyoo Foundation is organizing its 7th Lantern Festival in the Thai province of Samut Prakan from today (Feb 20, 2019) to Sunday (Feb 24, 2019), the Thai-language daily Khao Sod reported.
There is no entry fee and visitors can enjoy Taiwanese fried chicken, sweets, iced tea and pineapple pie made by the locals.
The festival is decorated with more than 5,000 beautiful Taiwanese lanterns, which are the highlight of this event.
The foundation is about 400 metres from the Ancient City on the old Sukhumvit Road. The festival is open from 6.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m.
