Bangkok bombers are from the South
Two men detained by Bangkok metropolitan police confessed yesterday (August 3, 2019) that they came from the south of the country to plant bombs in Bangkok, the Thai- language daily Khao Sod reported.
The suspects said that they and eight other men who came with them wanted “to show their capability” in creating violence in the Thai capital city.
However, an intelligence source told the newspaper that their real motive was to revenge against the death of a southern militant who died during his detention in a Thai military camp.
