Fake Thai ‘CIA agent’ arrested
A 30-year-old Thai man was arrested today (June 9) and charged with faking US and Thai government documents and cheating people out of four million baht, Sanook.com reported.
The suspect’s wife was shocked when informed by police investigators that her husband, identified only as “Mr Vichai,” is not a military officer working for the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
“He leaves home every morning donning the US military uniform,” his wife told police investigators. He has also shown her a “CIA badge” with his mugshot on it.
“How could he have done this to me?” she said, crying.
