There has been another case of a parasite infection that went viral online, the last story was on a man who pulled out a roundworm from his throat while in this case, a man pulled out an extremely long tapeworm while using the bathroom. The story was shared with multiple photos along with a video from Facebook User “Taklong Zing” in Thai. He captioned the post “What the he** is in my body”. The photos showed an extremely long tapeworm placed on top of the toilet. The image gets worse in the video that shows the tapeworm slowly moving.
The Khaosod News Team went to interview Kritsada Radprachum 44 years old, the owner of the story at his home in Udonthani Province. The man was still shocked by the discovery of the disgusting long creature that came out of him. Kritsada explained that he actually just had an appendectomy on 2 December 2019, the stitches are still in place. A few days ago he started having diarrhea even though had not consumed any strange foods.
Kritsada explained the scary experience stating “So this morning (9 December 2019) after I sent my child at school I returned home and needed to use the bathroom. While I was there I felt like something was stuck down there. So I stood up to look at what was in the toilet. I realized something was hanging from my behind. At first, the idea of a parasite didn’t come into my head but I thought maybe some stitches from the surgery became loose.
I pulled it out and it felt like rubber. I placed it on the toilet, it was about 10 meters long. This is when I saw it moving. I realized that it was alive and showed it to my girlfriend who is a nurse. She told me it was a tapeworm. I was shocked because I’ve never seen anything like this before. I quickly threw it back into the toilet and flushed it down.”
Kritsada admitted that he never worried about having parasites. The last time he took Anthelmintics to deworm was when he was still a little boy. He hardly eats raw food and barely touches vegetables.
