Policemen join in Valentine’s Day fun
VALENTINE’S Day activities are taking place across Bangkok today (Feb. 14) with the one most talked about on Thai social media being a traffic policeman giving red roses to motorists on Rama 2 Road, Sanook.com reported.
Motorists were really thrilled to get a rose each from this traffic policeman from Tha Kham Police Station on Rama 2 road.
However he is not the only one giving roses to the public with policemen in several areas across the country also doing so.
Adding to today’s romantic mood is that some condominiums have put up heart-shape neon signs on their buildings to wish the world a happy Valentine’s Day.
As usual the district office at Bang Rak, called the district of love because the word rak means love, is very lively today with lots of couples flocking in to register their marriage, and some of them had even queued up from dawn onwards to tie the knot on this most romantic day of the year.
