102 Thais returns home from Malaysia
The first group of 102 Thais returned home yesterday (April 18, 2020) from Malaysia after going through medical check-ups.
Their return had been delayed by the spread of COVID-19 in Thailand, with thousands of them having to secure medical documents in Malaysia before crossing the Sadao checkpoint into Thailand, the Thai-language daily Thai Rath reported.
Thai officials rechecked the list of returnees before sending them across the border.
In Thailand, they will be registered before being sent to their hometowns, where they will be quarantined for 14 days.
