Sick man dies after refusing to see a doctor
A 47-year-old man died at his home in the northeastern Thai province of Surin yesterday after refusing to see a doctor to treat a festering wound in the right leg, Sanook.com reported today (Oct 20).
The man’s elder sister told police investigators that his younger brother had a phobia about needles and never got close to any doctor who wanted to give him an injection.
He was bitten by an insect in the right leg when he was working in another province. He came home with a swollen leg. His sister took him to see a doctor but he fled home.
