3 drug sellers arrested 51 kgs crystal meth and Yaba pills.
3 drug sellers have been arrested with evidence including 51 kilograms of crystal meth, 16,000 Yaba pills, and assets worth 2 million THB. The drugs were prepared to be ship to an agent in Phuket. Police General Roi Ingpairot and related officials arrested Wisany Prosila 31 years old, Jiraporn Wongkaew 35 years old, and Chalo Pongchana 48 years old on 30 April 2022. Wisanu and Jiraporn are married, all three were arrested in Songkhla Province. Officials reported that police received information about a drug group delivering drugs to Phuket. The main drugs were crystal meth delivered to an agent in the tourist area.
Wisanu was found and he brought the police to a home in Ranod District. Police found 51 packages of crystal meth and 16,000 Yaba pills. The Yaba was hidden inside a red ice bucket placed in th ekitchen. Jiraporn was arrested while inside the home. The couple admitted that they have been delivering drugs to Phuket and other provinces in the South. Chalo is th eowner of the drugs and also the person in charge of orders. The couple would deliver drug orders to wherever Chalo told them to.
After arresting the couple police received information of where the next suspect was. Chalo was found hiding inside a local resort in Hat Yai District. All 3 suspects have admitted to the charges. The suspects are now waiting for prosecution. Police have also seized assets worth over 2 million THB as evidence to be used in the case. The crystal meth was packaged inside green tea packages in an attempt to cover what is inside. The Yaba pills were also hidden inside the kitchen in an ice bucket but police found all the drugs.
