3 Myanmar citizens held sneaking into Mae Sod
Three Myanmar citizens were arrested by Thai soldiers yesterday (Dec 11, 2020) and charged with illegally entering the Thai district of Mae Sod without permission, the Thai-language daily Khao Sod reported.
One of the three intruders was a 45-year-old man. The other two female intruders were 20 and 21 years old. All three had no passports or other documents to enter the country.
They were later sent to immigration officers to check for Covid-19 at Mae Sod Hospital before facing legal action.
