4.4 Million Yaba pills have been seized in Bueng Kan Province worth over 400 Million THB. A police chase involving a drug gang ended up with members of the gang throwing away the drugs onto the road. Officials from the Royal Thai Navy received notification of drug delivery from the border into Thailand. Bueng Kan officials, Custom officials, and related officials reported the seize of 4,400,000 Yaba pills, and 2,970 ecstasy pills worth together over 442,970,000 THB on 21 October 2020. The drugs were discovered at a rubber farm in Bung Kla District, Bueng Kan Province on 20 October 2020.

Rear Admiral Jaraskiat received notification about a drug delivery crossing the Mekong River to a Thai drug gang in Bueng Kan. Commander Pichet Muangkod, Sub Lieutenant Uthon Ruenklang, and other related officials received orders to inspect the Bueng Kan waters. The Enforcement Division from the Thai Customs also received notification of the drug delivery. Officials found a suspicious truck driving from Ban Tha Sirikhan, a village right by the water.
