6 soccer boys rescued from cave

AT 7.35 p.m. this evening (July 8, 2018) it was confirmed that foreign divers and Thai Navy Seals have successfully brought out 6 young soccer players from the huge and heavily flooded Tham Luang cave, the Thai-language daily Matichon reported.

Meanwhile the other 7 are resting at Hall 3 of the cave and all 13 are now out of danger.

At 7.10 p.m. the first of the rescued boys had been put on a MI17 Army helicopter to be taken to Chiangrai Prachanukroh Hospital, a 15-minute trip.

The newspaper’s reporter also saw more ambulances going to the cave entrance area.

The 12 young boys and their soccer coach had been trapped in Tham Luang cave since June 23, 2018.
