BMA’s New Year gift: Free BTS, BRT and ferry rides
A New Year gift from the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) comes in the form of free rides on BTS skytrain system, BRT special bus route and ferries from noon December 31, 2016 till noon January 1, 2017, Thai News Agency said today.
Bangkok Deputy Governor Pol Lt-General Amnuay Nimmano also said that BMA is coordinating with the private sector and vocational schools to set up assistance points where those driving to the provinces could get their vehicles checked.
There will also be a repair service from December 31, 2016 till January 4, 2017 at BMA head office and six other locations leading out of the city.
