Driver rescued from car smashed by container truck

A MAN who was trapped in his crushed car after an 18-wheel container truck suddenly flipped and smashed it has been rescued and sent to the hospital with 2 cranes being used to lift the big vehicle and free him, INN News reported today (May 27, 2018).

The driver of container truck, which was carrying soybean meal, lost control of the large vehicle and it fell on top of the sedan at Pracha Pattana road near Wat Pholmanee in Ladkrabang district earlier today.

The approximately 35-year-old injured man was able to talk to rescuers after they quickly came to help. Once freed, rescuers saw that he had injured his chest and had some cuts across his body so swiftly sent him to Ladkrabang Hospital.

The 2 cranes are now being used to move the container truck to the side of the road so that it can again be open to traffic.
