Fake doctor arrested for deceiving investors
A 52-year-old man was arrested yesterday (8 Sept 2020) and charged with deceiving investors online.
Well-dressed and talkative, he presented himself as a medical doctor and investor. Several investors transferred millions of baht to his bank accounts, according to the Thai-language daily Khao Sod.
The suspect told police detectives that he was just a merchant, with no high education.
