Good citizen saves father and child from car in canal.
A good citizen helped save 2 lives from a road accident on the 5th of this month. The good citizen Prapa Kaewmanee shared the experience on her personal Facebook page on the 5th of this month. Prapa is an owner of an eyelash and hair extension beauty shop owner in Lopburi Province. She also attached a video and a picture of the hammer that she used to break the car window in her post.
Prapa was driving as usual on the road in her car when she saw that there was a car accident that had just occurred on the road in front of her. The car involved in the accident had fallen into the canal by the road. Before the accident, the area was raining causing the road to be extremely slippery. She tried to look for other citizens on the road that would help those in the car.
This was when she realized that she always kept a hammer inside of her car. Prapa decided to take action and followed her instincts. She grabbed her hammer and ran outside, together with other good citizens they successfully broke the vehicle’s window and dragged out the father and his son that was still in shock from the incident.
Prapa later posted another post on the 6th of this month where she stated, “Thank you to everyone who helped the father and his son in yesterday’s incident. The car lost control and drove into a small cottage by the road, another auntie fell down on the road. I was on my way running to go help the auntie up but then I saw that the other car was starting to sink into the water.
The villagers were all so nice and helped each other. I heard that everyone involved in the accident is safe. Please drive carefully in the raining season, the road is slippery. Lastly, always keep a hammer in your car.”.
