‘Good morning, I am your governor’
A mentally-sick man caught everyone by surprise when he walked into the Buri Ram Provincial Office and introduced himself as the new governor of Buri Ram Province, Sanook.com reported today (June 16).
Security guards apprehended the man, who wore a full khaki uniform with a badge on his shirt with the inscription “Mr Wiwat, Governor of Buri Ram Province.”
Police investigators later learned that the 48-year-old man lives in a village in Buri Ram. He is a patient at the Mental Hospital in Nakhon Ratchasima Province, adjoining Buri Ram.
A doctor at the hospital said his patient has not come for medication for a period of time, and that might have caused him to behave in such a strange manner.
