Groom-to-be sued for no-show
A 15-year-old bride-to-be filed charges today (Sept 30) against her 25-year-old boyfriend who did not show up for their wedding ceremony in the southern Thai province of Krabi, Sanook.com reported.
“He caused my daughter to lose face in front of the guests,” the father told police investigators. “I also spent more than 300,000 baht to organize the wedding.”
The parents of the groom-to-be said his son could not afford a dowry. “He tried hard, but could not get enough money for the wedding. Please forgive him for not showing up.”
